I imagine that there are some examples of good presentations on the web! Steve Jobs is often cited as being a good presenter.
Perhaps it would be interesting to look at one or two of his presentations… (”Just one more thing” ;-) )

“Beyond Bullet Points” is the name of a book (and some resources on the web) that present the ideal presentation as a storyboard with a plot that leads up to the conclusion…

Sometimes I wonder if we shouldn’t try to give good talks with very few slides… or slides with just pictures… Though your point about technical subjects seems well taken.
